My goal is to support, educate and guide you out of pain. I work with individuals to address a range of mental health issues, including depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive behavior, as well as those dealing with the impact of addiction and problems related to long-term recovery.

Our beliefs impact how we think, which impacts how we feel, which impacts how we behave. Together we will identify the unhealthy thoughts and behaviors that may be triggering your stress, anxiety, depression or anger. We’ll explore any unresolved family issues that are impacting your relationships. And you’ll learn new ways of thinking and responding to change what isn’t working.
My approach is based on personal and consistent interaction.
Because the way each person learns is unique, therapy is unique to every client. I focus on getting to know you and understanding your issues and objectives. My goal is to help you become consistent with the work we do together, and I work individually with clients and together with their loved ones and family members as needed. I hold each person accountable for working on their personal wellbeing as well as improving their relationship dynamics.
I combine cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with aspects of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help clients create real change. These treatments focus on helping you identify your negative thoughts and understand how they impact your feelings and behavior. You will learn to interrupt and change these negative thoughts to help you feel better and act in healthier ways. I also rely heavily on solution-focused and family systems therapy.
